Sawyer also uses this nickname for Pickett and the warden at the prison he was in in Florida (Every Man for Himself, Season Three). It is also a little homage to the Paul Newman classic ” Cool Hand Luke”. ( And I was sure that someone was going to bet Sawyer that he couldn’t eat 50 fish bisquits 😉 ) .

Wikipedia has a hearty list of famous “Bosses” in various “fields” . But here’s a little Lost fan video that celebrates the show that brought us one of TV’s biggest ” Bosses” ever, ” Dukes of Hazzard” ‘s own Boss Hogg (played by Sorrell Booke). ” Go you Lost boys! Go!”
