FF Thoughts : When TV and Architecture Collide ( in my brain, at least)

I want to correct what I believe was an error that I made on the latest ” FlashForward Live” podcast ( Oh, I’m sure there are several. This is just one that I’m pretty sure was a total mess up…lol) .

I was doing a second watch of the FF’s latest episode ” The Gift” and was taking down some notes and doing a little research. While I was doing this, I saw this really cool black triangular house that won an architectural design award. It was on the front page of the search engine, so I decided to make a small diversion and go check out the screen caps.

If you haven’t seen the latest Flash Forward episode, you might want to skip reading the rest. 🙂

About an hour later, Heath and I recorded the show. He mentioned something about the Japanese character, that meant ” Believe”, that Nicole finished on Bryce’s drawing. I thought that I saw something shaped like the character as a statue that was near the fountains where the paramedics took away Al’s body. It turns out, that I think the black triangular image of the house popped into my mind and I confused the two.

So, I apologize for the mix up. But it would have been cool if there had actually been a Japanese character shaped statue there, right…lol?

I couldn’t find the original house that I saw. It was photographed from a different angle too. But this one is fairly close. ( Link)

LRN and FFLive News: FlashForward is Live, Donald is LOST and Lostaholics Rewatch

First up, The Flash Forward Live podcast will be LIVE on Friday, October 23 at 8 p.m. EST on Talkshoe. Heath and I will be discussing Episode 5. Any thoughts, theories and/or FF Alums send them to flashforwardlive@gmail.com and/or stop on by Talkshoe. ( Unlike the LRN, we try to keep the cast to around an hour. But we will be recording for a little bit longer for the LIVE podcast) 🙂

Also, on Tuesday, October 27th, at 9 pm EST ( 8pm CST. That was for you, Donald. 😉 ) Heath and I will be appearing on the ” Donald is LOST” podcast. We will be talking about our Top Two Creepiest LOST Moments (so far) with Donald , along with Anna from The Jacob’s Cabin Podcast and Matt from “Keys to LOST” podcast. (Thanks, Donald! ) 8)

And lastly, on most episodes, either/both Heath and I can be found on ( or in the chat) of the Lostaholics Rewatch podcast, Hosted by Nancy Drew. The show has moved from Sundays and is now recording Live on Tuesdays at 10 EST on Talkshoe. ( Thanks, Nancy Drew!) 🙂

“LOST Revisited Now” News: Podcast Update for September, 2009

Starting this month, Heath Solo and I are going to be podcasting about two shows. I will be posting recording dates for both shows from now on here at the ” It’s About Bunnies” blog. We will be continuing our ” LOST Revisited Now” podcast throughout the hiatus and into the final season of LOST. We will also be doing a show about the new ABC drama ” Flash Forward” called ” The Flash Forward Podcast ” with Heath and Ms. Wendy.

Here is the schedule for upcoming podcast episodes ( Recorded on Talkshoe.)

Monday, September 7, 2009 at 9 pm EST: Our first ” Flash Forward” podcast. This will be a “pre-show” episode. We will be focusing on the premise, actors/ producers/writers, and any interesting information we can dig up prior to the initial airing of the pilot episode.

Thursday, September 17th , 2009 at 9pm EST : Heath and I will be recording ” The Bunny Awards” show for the LOST Season 2 finale ( and Heath’s favorite episode) “Live Together, Die Alone” for ” The LOST Revisited Now”.

Friday, September 25th, 2009 at 9pm: ” Flash Forward” episode based on the first episode ( Airing Thursday, September 24th at 8pm) .

LOST Thoughts : Starting a New Podcast and ComicCon

As you may know, above is the logo for ” The LOST Revisited Now with Heath and Ms. Wendy” podcast. But soon, there will be another logo being drawn for our new podcast coming out later this summer. It will be based on the upcoming ABC drama ” Flash Forward” , starring a few familiar faces from ABC’s LOST.

Heath has a write about this up on his blog, Heath’s World. And since he did such a fantastic job in doing so…I decided to cut and paste what he wrote here. 🙂

FLASH FORWARD : NEW SHOW and PODCAST

FLASH FORWARD is an amazing new series from ABC. Here is some info you need to know from www.flashforwardtv.com :

What did you see?” An exciting new ABC series debuting this Fall 2009 seeks to answer that question and more when, in a split second, the world changes when everyone flashes forward and catches a glimpse of a future that may or may not come to fruition.

In the thrilling television adaptation of Hugo Award-winner Robert J. Sawyer’s outstanding science-fiction novel, executive producers David S. Goyer (Batman Begins) and Brannon Braga (Star Trek, 24) catapult our consciousness into a world paralyzed by visions of tomorrow. I know ABC is trying to capitalize on Lost fans to start watching and getting obsessed about a new show, but it happens without pushing it. If you got a hit on your hands, it will happen. Is Flash Forward the next Lost? I don’t think we will ever get another show like Lost. But I am really excited about this new show. It looks great and the concept is really cool. This is one of the few new shows that really has me excited.

So premiering in August 2009 Episode 1 :

“Flash Forward Fan Podcast with Heath & Ms. Wendy”.

Ms. Wendy and I will be starting a new podcast about Flash Forward. So stay tuned for podcast logo and updates.

In preparation of the show, we would like to ask a favor. Neither Heath nor I will be attending San Diego’s Comic Con this year. 😦 If anyone is going to this year’s ComicCon and are attending the LOST panel and/or the Flash Forward panel, we would really appreciate any news, feedback, impressions of what you heard/saw there.
